Salary Package:

Role Highlights:
Be part of a major supply chain transformation within a national FMCG brand. Step into this newly created role, use your analytical skills and commercial thinking to shape data, systems, and insights that drive better decisions across operations, finance, and logistics.

Role Overview

I've partnered exclusively with a well-known Australian FMCG business that's in the middle of transforming its supply chain operations - modernising how data, systems, and performance come together across over 300 sites and restaurants.

This newly created role reports to the Director of Supply Chain and will act as the glue between Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, Procurement, and Operations.

You'll bring structure to the chaos - creating dashboards, analysing trends, and helping senior leaders make smarter, faster decisions.

You won't be buried in spreadsheets. You'll be collaborating daily with logistics partners, DCs, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, connecting the dots between commercial data and on-the-ground performance.

This is a role for someone who's curious, hands-on, and loves to make sense of numbers - not just to report them, but to improve them and use those numbers to drive operational efficiencies

Responsibilities

  • Build and automate Power BI dashboards and reports to replace Excel-based processes.
  • Analyse end-to-end supply chain data - demand, inventory, supplier performance, and logistics efficiency.
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, and Operations to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Support continuous improvement projects that enhance forecasting, inventory accuracy, and supplier performance.
  • Monitor stock levels across DCs and restaurants, identifying inefficiencies and recommending process improvements.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations on new product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Develop metrics and reporting frameworks to track DIFOT, cost changes, and service levels.
  • Provide actionable insights to the Director of Supply Chain that support strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with a range of stakeholders throughout the supply chain process, retail network, operations, merchandising and marketing teams.

Candidate Profile

You could be a Supply Chain Analyst, Commercial Analyst, or Finance Analyst who's moved into supply chain & operations - someone who thrives on
solving problems with data and people
.

You're confident working across functions, turning complex data into clear insights, and building relationships that drive change. You enjoy getting close to the action - visiting DCs, suppliers, and even restaurants to understand how things really work.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and communicate data clearly.
  • Proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or FMCG environment (multi-site exposure ideal).
  • Experience with Power BI or similar tools for reporting and data visualisation.
  • Advanced Excel skills (data modelling, pivot tables, complex formulas).
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes (demand, inventory, logistics).
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills - able to influence without authority.
  • Hands-on, curious, and proactive approach to problem-solving

Any exposure or understanding of the food supply chain / FMCG or QSR would be highly beneficial, but not essential.

Culture & Benefits

You'll join a well-known and respected fast-paced FMCG business that's modernising its operations and investing heavily in technology, people, and processes.

It's a business that's driven by purpose, focused on quality, customer experience, and continuous improvement. You'll be surrounded by smart, passionate people who care deeply about what they do and are genuinely stronger together

  • Newly created role - shape the future of supply chain analytics.
  • Work with the Director of Supply Chain & senior stakeholders in a high-visibility position.
  • Opportunity to create Power BI dashboards and reporting from the ground up.
  • Work across multiple functions - finance, procurement, marketing, logistics, and operations.
  • Thorough onboarding, training and ongoing support & career development
  • $135k - $145k + Super + Bonus
  • Hybrid work: 4 days onsite, 1 day WFH
  • Location: Sydney CBD
  • Occasional travel to other sites and restaurants as required
