About the role
As our
Community Engagement Coordinator,
you'll be leading a team of vibrant Support Workers and Volunteers to develop and deliver an engaging outreach program, where clients can learn new skills and build meaningful connections with their community to feel a sense of belonging.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Together with clients, plan for activities, events, outings and speakers to meet their needs and goals
  • Motivate individuals and encourage socialisation and participation in activities
  • Supporting clients with dignity and care
  • Leading and mentoring a passionate team of staff and volunteers
  • Provide a safe, collaborative and positive working environment
  • Keeping records, care plans and clients goals up to date
  • Managing budgets and income targets

What you'll bring

  • A Certificate III in Community Services (or Equivalent)
  • A big heart and head for planning
  • Leadership skills and a love for teamwork
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong administration skills (you're a whiz with Work, Excel and Outlook)
  • An understanding of disability and its impact on individual's abilities
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
