About the opportunity

Play a pivotal role in shaping our organisation's change management capability and driving the success of strategic programs, initiatives, and projects. This is an opportunity to design and embed frameworks, governance, and culture that will guide the future of health services in Australia.

You will drive change across business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organisational structures - ensuring our people are engaged, prepared, and supported. Working with a diverse network of stakeholders - from internal leaders to government agencies and partners - you'll deliver change that sticks, driving faster adoption, higher utilisation, and sustainable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise change strategy: Design, establish, and embed a scalable change management methodology tailored to our maturity and transformation goals.
  • Deliver transformation programs: Lead end-to-end change activities for 1800MEDICARE and other high-profile initiatives.
  • Engage and align stakeholders: Build strong relationships with executives, leaders, and partners, securing sponsorship and buy-in.
  • Build change capability: Coach and mentor leaders and teams, uplifting our organisation's ability to navigate change.
  • Measure success: Define KPIs, track adoption, and demonstrate ROI through transparent reporting.

What you will bring to the role

  • Relevant change management qualifications (e.g. PROSCI, CMI, or equivalent).
  • 5+ years' experience in change management, with proven success in complex stakeholder environments.
  • Expertise in customer service environments and transformation programs.
  • Flexibility and resilience to work in ambiguous and evolving contexts
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
