Description
The
Events Manager
supports the
Royal Flying Doctor Service
(Queensland Section), by creating engaging, memorable and brand-aligned experiences across a diverse range of high-quality events. The Events Manager plays a critical role in strengthening awareness of the RFDS, connecting with communities and support the organisation's Community Engagement Strategy.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity
based at our Brisbane Corporate Office, with the added flexibility of hybrid working arrangements with a mixture of home and office work, as well as regular team days. We are seeking a team member who is
flexible
and able to attend events scheduled after hours and on weekends.

Key Responsibilities
As the Events Manager, you will support our people by:

• Planning, coordinating and delivering RFDS events, including logistics, programming, ticketing, registrations, invitations, marketing and communications, and database management
• Fostering strong, productive and positive relationships with internal stakeholders, external providers, sponsors, community groups and event partners
• Identifying additional event opportunities in regional Queensland for RFDS to support
• Managing end-to-end event operations to deliver seamless event experiences
• Conducting post-event evaluations including financial outcomes, stakeholder feedback, attendance data and key learnings to support continuous event improvement
• Assisting with other tasks as required within the skill scope of the role and requirements of the Commercial and Corporate Affairs team.

Who are we looking for?
Skills
We are seeking a friendly individual with excellent communication skills and an innovative approach to problem solving. You will have a can-do attitude and meet the following criteria:

• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Fundraising, Communications, or relevant experience in an events or NFP marketing role
• Proven ability in planning, delivering and managing a diverse range of events and campaigns
• Experience with event and marketing platforms including CRM systems, booking systems, marketing automation and content management systems, as well as job management platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight timeframes in a dynamic environment
• Current Drivers Licence, and a willingness to travel as required.
