Opportunity

Join our passionate team as an Events Executive We're looking for a dynamic hospitality individual who is eager to succeed in events sales and planning. As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering seamless event coordination, yielding revenue through nurturing in-bound enquiries, excellent customer service, and efficient account management across all Ghanem Group venues.

Key responsibilities include managing the full life cycle of functions and events - from the initial ensuring, coordination and planning, handling financial reconciliations, providing exceptional customer service right through to operational handover. Located in our centralised head office, you will be contributing to our team's success with your organizational skills and dedication to creating memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the friendly first point of contact for functions and events across all Ghanem Group venues, from enquiry through to operational handover
  • Deliver premium, prompt, and personalised customer service for event sales and management
  • Professionally guide clients from initial inquiry through to coordinating their event, overseeing venue logistics, financials, menu selections, and wider protocols as required
  • Preparation of accurate event proposals/quotes, contracts and payment invoices, event orders, and communications platform upkeep
  • Uphold all sales, events, and reservation processes and procedures
  • Deliver strong time management, proactive organisation, and prioritisation skills
  • Passionately cultivate positive, collaborative, and fruitful internal and external relationships with peers, venues, customers, and stakeholders
  • Expand business and commercial opportunities through quoting, converting, upselling, cross-selling, repeat business opportunities

To be successful in this role you will possess the following demonstrated skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in hospitality and / or event; sales experience is preferred but not essential
  • Exceptional customer service ethic and high expectations for quality
  • Good organisation skills with the ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines
  • Take pride in delivering friendly, clear and accurate communication, over the phone, in person, and in writing
  • Uphold a solution-focused mindset, a multi-tasker, can-do attitude, and team spirit
  • Available and willing to work occasional early evenings and tortating weekends.
