The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for leading a handful of accounts across PR, influencer and events. The role will reside in Sydney and will service clients in Australia and overseas to connect with Australian audiences with a team of people in more junior and more senior roles working with you.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing high quality client documentation including strategies, briefs, media and event plans
  • Developing winning new business proposals
  • Presenting at client and new business meetings and demonstrating clear, persuasive verbal presentation skills
  • Sourcing, negotiating, leveraging and evaluating paid editorial and influencer campaigns and partnerships
  • Creating guestlists of relevant and influential individuals in the Sydney market with whom you have an existing relationship
  • Maintaining a wide network of media and influencer contacts via events, phone calls, emails and social media
  • Compiling targeted media lists relevant to each client and brand
  • Creating and copywriting key brand and campaign messages, compelling and relevant pitches and releases
  • Identifying and pitching a variety of media angles for client brands and products

As the right candidate, you will have:

  • At least 3 - 5 years' experience in marketing in-house or at a communications agency
  • Hands-on experience with both organic and paid pr and social media strategies, including campaign planning, execution, and performance analysis.
  • Creative project management experience
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Proven ability to implement marketing strategies
  • Experience managing team members and working into an Account Director
  • Experience in managing client relationships and selling in ideas
  • Ability to use digital tech tools such as – Chat GPT, Canva, Google suite, excel, media monitors
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field is advantageous
