Numbers Executive is representing a leading real estate advisory team at a global investment bank with the appointment of an Investment Banking Analyst to their team in Sydney. With extensive coverage of diversified Real Estate clients, this team is known for their deep institutional knowledge, global connectivity, and strong long-term client relationships.
The opportunity
As an Analyst, you will be involved in researching market and sector trends, analyzing financial data, and building complex financial models. Your responsibilities will also include evaluating deal profitability, supporting due diligence processes for M&A transactions, and preparing presentation materials, information memorandums, and board or investment committee papers for clients.
Required skills & experience
The successful candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in M&A advisory, ideally within an investment bank or boutique advisory firm. Additionally, you will have strong financial modelling skills, with experience in valuation techniques such as DCF, LBO, and merger models. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders will be critical to your success in this position.
