The Opportunity

Ballarat Group Practice is seeking an enthusiastic, responsible, and motivated individual to join our team. Within this well established and long-standing organisation you will play a key role as a Medical Receptionist by ensuring the professional image and high-quality patient care is maintained.

The medical receptionist is the first person of the team that patients interact with when visiting our practice, and are responsible for greeting patients and visitors, managing appointment bookings, and billing patients.

Our medical receptionists rotate through our Contact Centre, which patients interact with via phone, and are responsible for answering incoming calls, greeting patients and visitors, managing appointment bookings, and assisting with general inquiries.

  • Strong commitment to protecting patients' confidentiality

This position will be offered on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:45am to 6:15pm, with the possibility of extended hours and weekend roster rotations.
