About the role

As a Technical Lead, you'll guide engineering practices and mentor developers to deliver secure, high-quality software. You'll work closely with delivery teams and stakeholders to embed best practices and support technical growth across our enterprise platforms.

What you'll do

  • Lead engineering practices across your team, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-quality code reaches production efficiently.
  • Coach and mentor engineers to build capability and embed modern development practices.
  • Act as the technical point of contact for your team, connecting with domain experts and stakeholders.
  • Promote secure software development through code reviews, threat modelling, and lifecycle practices.
  • Identify and implement improvements in development processes, tools, and standards.

What you'll bring 

  • 7+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years in technical leadership.
  • Expertise in React, Typescript, Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • Experience mentoring engineers and driving Agile development practices.
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and testing skills including TDD and BDD.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
