A great opportunity exists for an experienced Finance Technical Lead to join our team to provide superior skills in designing complex innovative platform solutions for our Corporate Core Platforms function.

You will deliver alongside an agile team of Product Owners, Architects, Analysts, and System Engineers with a focus on Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM, Aptitude, supporting components and integrations. You will ensure delivery meets the standards of our Platform in both technical execution and our process and practices. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects as well as support the maintenance of our critical systems.

**What you’ll do**:

- Lead the technical design and input for Oracle Financials solution in close liaison with Solution and Enterprise Architects.
- Guide technical decisions in line with the Strategic and Product Roadmap.
- Collaborate effectively across teams to remove technical roadblocks and support delivery decision making.
- Ensure that delivery of changes and/or incident fixes adhere to established governance and adopted practices within Suncorp.
- Providing support and guidance to the Oracle support team during production incidents.
- Identify opportunities to improve development processes and standards.
- Demonstrate an understanding of risk frameworks and promote visibility of potential operational/technical risks.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure System Health Assessments, DR activities, and other risk mitigation activities are completed on time and as per the standard.
- Ensure compliance to corporate and governance standards and escalate potential breaches
- Contribute to a high performing and engaging team, driving critical thinking and innovation across the team.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Tertiary qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology (mandatory).
- 5+ years of combined technical experience in Oracle EBS (R12+) and Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP and EPM products; 2+ years in a Technical Lead role.
- Experience in Pentaho ETL and Ctrl-M MFT configuration (Desired).
- Capable in Excel Macros and VBA development (Desired).
- Good understanding of Finance, accounting operations and planning and budgeting (Desired).
- Ability to research, learn, troubleshoot and support complex system enhancements.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Good coaching and mentoring skills.
- Ability to work independently or within a team framework, and in varying customer environments.
- Strong time management, workload management and organisational skills and work with mínimal direction and supervision.
- Able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences including senior management.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Demonstrate an understanding of Secure Development Life Cycle framework.
