Accommodations Coordinator

About us

Sana Living is a leading provider and developer of Specialist Disability Accommodation. We design, develop, and manage a range of high quality accommodation types accessible for eligible Participants of the NDIS. We work closely with those who have a goal to live more independently, offering help and guidance through the entire process. Ultimately changing lives by providing safe accessible housing.

Qualifications & experience

  • Relevant qualification or significant experience working in the residential building sector
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the residential building sector if no formal qualification is held
  • Experience performing minor carpentry, painting, and general maintenance tasks
  • Experience working in asset maintenance, inspections and / or management would be beneficial
  • Experience in assessing trade quotes and making value judgements
  • Experience using client management systems and property management systems
  • Office administrative procedures
  • Relevant software applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems is required

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Perform minor maintenance tasks on Sana Living properties, either planned or reactive
  • Assist during tenant move ins, performing document and key handover
  • Provide training on home features to new tenants and their support group if required.
  • Amendments to dwellings - Oversee and approve the correct installation of tenant funded items (eg ceiling hoists, door openers, hand rails) to the dwellings by coordinating with suppliers - Perform minor installations as required within approved scope.
  • Safety and Security - Following training and upskilling, perform routine fire sprinkler and generator inspections as per the maintenance schedule and record activity.
  • Asset maintenance - Work closely with the Property Manager to coordinate and prioritise all maintenance requests - Assess and report damage of assets to the Property Manager - Efficiently manage repair and maintenance expenses for the business to maximise profitability.
  • Engage with external suppliers for routine maintenance services including quality control and feedback.
  • Training and support will be offered to ensure the role can be carried out with confidently and safely.
