About the Role
JPS is seeking a detail-oriented, enthusiastic and organised Mobilisation Coordinator/Support to join our head office team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact to connect with new staff onboarding to our exciting projects all across Australia.
This role will be working closely and reporting directly to the Mobilisation and Logistics Team Lead. The successful candidate must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment, demonstrate problem solving skills and deliver a high level onboarding experience for our employees. This position can be tailored to appeal to both experienced and entry-level candidates.
Candidates who have limited experience within the resources industry, and who would like to take the next step in their career path to learn and grow, will work closely with an experienced mentor, who will ensure that they are given thorough exposure to mobilise employees to various sites. They can focus on transferable skills gained through their previous roles to demonstrate potential for success in this position.
If the successful candidate pays attention to detail, has the ability to multitask, has great communication skills, and would like to expand their knowledge base in the resources sector, whilst learning new skills and taking on new responsibilities, then they will truly adapt to this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Manage all mobilisation related enquiries in an efficient and timely manner
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the employee mobilisation activities, including but not limited to;
- Set up new employees on internal and client specific systems
- Book pre-employment medicals
- Book trainings
- Book inductions
- Book flights, transport and accommodation
Verify certifications whilst ensuring that the onboarding process is in compliance with site requirements and with company policies
Perform any other tasks as reasonably required by the company, aligned with business needs and operational requirements
About the successful candidate:
- 3+ years experience in a similar position within the mining, oil and gas or resources industries
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- High level of attention to details
- Ability to meet deadlines and to work effectively under pressure
- Advanced computer skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent written and confident verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders across various sites
- Experience with mobilisation systems such as Canyou, Mypass, Xero, Enable, Successfactor (is desirable)
- Knowledge of FIFO onboarding and logistic requirements (is highly desirable)
- Ability to work autonomously or in a team
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders to achieve outcomes
- Flexible and adaptable to change management
- Office based position - (Brisbane)
- Daily start time not earlier than 8:30am to be able to correspond with nationwide clients
