About the role:

Networks Project Manager

Location : Sydney

Job Responsibilities

  • Focuses on completing a project as efficiently and promptly as possible;
  • Managing several projects concurrently;
  • Leading project meetings, steering committee meetings and planning sessions;
  • Coordinating Customer staff and internal resources;
  • Managing project progress and adapt work as required and as directed by the Customer;
  • Ensuring projects meet deadlines;
  • Managing relationships with Customer clients and stakeholders;
  • Designing and signing off on contracts;
  • Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation;
  • Designing risk mitigation plans;
  • Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for Customer executive staff;
  • Optimising and improving processes and the overall Customer approach to key projects where necessary; and
  • Managing large and diverse teams.
  • Qualifications and Requirements

This role must have five or more years' experience preferably working in the telecommunication industry, and one or several formal qualifications in:

  1. Engineering/IT Management

This role must preferably have a background working in telecommunications core network services and activities.

Additionally, must possess high levels of the
skills
set out below to perform well in the role:

  • Written and verbal communication skills;
  • Capacity to manage high stress situations;
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously;
  • Leadership skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Conflict resolution skills; and
  • Technical understanding of telecommunications networks.
