Network Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for network infrastructure upgrades, expansions, and migrations.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, issues, and changes.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Manage procurement of hardware, software, and services related to network projects.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and implement lessons learned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in network infrastructure or IT project management.
  • Strong understanding of networking technologies (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches).
  • Proven experience managing large-scale network deployments or upgrades.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred.
  • Experience with ITIL practices is a plus.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in managing projects with security clearance requirements (e.g., NV1/NV2).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous.
