
Project Controls Administrator

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a reputable and well-established company, known for delivering high-quality projects in the resources and infrastructure sectors.
This position will be site-based, operating on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off (2/1) Drive in, Drive out roster from Perth, WA.
We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Project Controls Administrators to join our team.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Be the conduit between Projects and Purchasing for all purchasing requests – match requisitions and scope against WBS and budget - provide insight and feedback to Projects on variances, discrepancies, or potential improvements against budget.
- Track and manage all purchasing and invoice approvals for the Major Projects team.
- Assist in the preparation and collation of project financial reports (weekly and monthly) including original budget, variations, revised budget, forecast cost to complete, forecast final cost, forecast final margin and close-out report.
- Liaise with project team to collate and record man hour and machinery usage, along with quantities completed.
- Liaise with project teams and key personnel to provide advice on forecasted and actual costs.
Position Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent Project Controls experience, ideally within construction or engineering.
- Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
- National Police Clearance.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management, organisational and presentation/finishing skills.
- Valid Driver's Licence - "C" Class.
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining high level of accuracy.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, schedule and plan.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently using own initiative and within a cohesive team environment.
- Strong understanding of Project Accounting, with a sound knowledge of Earned Value and WIP.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management systems.
- High level analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to listen actively and retain information accurately.
- Excellent organisational and time management.
