We're growing fast and looking for a Trade Manager who's ready to own outcomes, build strong trade relationships, and make an impact every single day.

About the Role

The Trade Manager plays a key role in managing and supporting our network of trades across multiple projects. You'll ensure sufficient trades are onboarded to facilitate repairs and roof replacements to standard, on time, and within budget while keeping quality, safety, and client experience front of mind.

You'll act as the bridge between our operations team and our trade partners, balancing the commercial and people aspects of the role to keep every job moving and every tradie engaged.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate a network of subcontracted trades across multiple job sites
  • Ensure all projects are delivered safely, on time, and to Auscoast quality standards
  • Conduct trade performance reviews and onboarding for new contractors
  • Resolve trade and site issues quickly and constructively
  • Maintain strong relationships with trade partners built on mutual respect and accountability
  • Work closely with the Operations and Site Teams to forecast resourcing needs
What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Experience managing trades, contractors, or field teams within construction, roofing, or repairs
  • Strong understanding of project timelines, budgets, and compliance
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused

Desirable:

  • Trade qualification or background in construction
  • Insurance repair or restoration experience
  • Working knowledge of safety systems and compliance requirements
