That's why we are looking for a self-motivated, experienced and passionate person to assist with our expanding company.
About the role…
Working in our Arundel based facility, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously and as a part of a team. You will need to have the ability to read and understand plans in order to fabricate our custom-built marine products to a very high standard. Our factory staff work on a 4-day, 40-hour week Monday to Thursday, with the opportunity for overtime on Fridays subject to operational requirements. This means most weeks you have a 3-day long weekend
To be successful in this role you will need…
- Safety conscious
- Experience in aluminium welding - specifically MIG with some TIG work
- Trade qualification is preferred but not essential
- Ability to read drawings / plans
- Good problem-solving skills
- Understanding of relevant codes of practice and industry standards
- High attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Work effectively in a team
