The Maitland Dental Clinic is a 12-chair, purpose-built facility providing high-quality oral health services to the local community. Our dedicated team of Dentists, Dental Therapists, Oral Health Therapists, Prosthetists and Dental Assistants are committed to delivering the best patient care possible.

We are seeking a motivated and organised Administration Officer to support the smooth operation of our busy clinic.

What You'll Do
As the Administration Officer, you will:

  • Provide high-quality front-line customer service as the first point of contact for patients, staff and visitors.
  • Manage enquiries via telephone, email and face-to-face in a professional and supportive manner.
  • Assist and direct patients to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the clinic.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and administrative records, adhering to privacy and confidentiality requirements.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to staff to enable effective service delivery.
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, respect and excellence in patient care.

This role is based at the Maitland Dental Clinic, operating between 8:00am and 4:30pm.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who can bring:

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload to achieve outcomes in a busy environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy when working with electronic systems and administrative processes.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to listen and respond effectively.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Competence using computer systems and software to support day-to-day operations.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
