Robert Half is currently working with a well-regarded organisation based in Welshpool to recruit an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer for a 6-month maternity leave contract.

This is a great opportunity to step into a collaborative and supportive finance team, where your AR expertise will be recognised from day one.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end Accounts Receivable function, playing a key role in maintaining cash flow and strengthening customer relationships. You'll also support broader finance functions including reconciliations and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full AR process, from invoicing through to collections
  • Issuing invoices and customer statements promptly
  • Following up on outstanding payments and resolving queries
  • Allocating incoming payments and completing bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Assisting with month-end reporting as needed

About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Solid experience in a similar Accounts Receivable or Credit Control role
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with good time management skills
