Jason Windows employs around 340 employees, operates out of our purpose-built premises in Welshpool and has an office in Bunbury supporting the South-West region. It is widely recognised for its premium aluminium window and door products in the WA market.

About the role

As the AP/AR Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and working closely with vendors, customers, and internal departments. This is a key role in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of our operations.

What you'll do

Accounts Receivable

  • Manage debt collection for overdue accounts, seeking guidance and following the escalation process for difficult/unusual collections.
  • Query invoice rejection and follow up for clearance.
  • Ensuring the timely completion and updating of all tasks on the customer debt management system, Officetorque.
  • Respond to all customer queries in a timely manner.
  • Assist with customer credit application process and maintenance
  • Processing and issuing credit notes that have been authorised by the managers

Accounts Payable

  • Timely and accurate processing of all supplier and subcontractor invoices.
  • Processing weekly and month end payments to suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all supplier monthly reconciliations are performed prior to paying suppliers on due date.
  • Receive and respond to all supplier and internal queries regarding payments and invoices in a timely manner.
  • Review and process supplier credit applications and supplier onboarding

General Duties:

  • Assist with month-end closing and reporting
  • Maintain financial documentation and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Support audits and other financial processes as needed

What we're looking for

  • Experience in a similar role is great, but full training will be provide full training
  • Experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is a plus
