Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future.

Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.

We currently have an opportunity for an Organisational Change Manager to support an enterprise-wide initiative to uplift and replace Defence's Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).

What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key role responsibilities including:

  • Organisational Change Management (OCM) Leadership
    : Proven ability to lead and assure all OCM activities, ensuring alignment with project milestones and stakeholder expectations.
  • OCM Documentation & Assurance
    : Skilled in developing and maintaining comprehensive OCM documentation and overseeing outputs from external suppliers and partners.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
    : Strong capability in planning communications, engaging stakeholders, and supporting change readiness across diverse business areas.
  • Expertise in Change Frameworks
    : Deep understanding of change management methodologies, adoption planning, and strategic implementation in complex ICT or transformation programs.
  • Multi-Stakeholder Coordination
    : Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive consistent and effective change outcomes.

What You'll Bring

  • Timely delivery of milestones and documentation.
  • Commonwealth approval of deliverables.
  • Acceptance of project into operation.

Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum
Negative Vetting 1
or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
