About you

The IT Support Officer will perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs, including software and computer installations and upgrades, routine automation, security maintenance, troubleshooting, training, and technical support for all users and projects of the company. The roles requires you to understand the operations of the business, be a technology all-rounder and handling any concerns that may arise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in IT support or systems administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite and related enterprise tools.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong understanding of data integration, user management, and software configuration.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

As the IT Support Officer, your role will include but not be limited to the following

Technology Support & Maintenance

  • Provide first-line support to staff across all technology-related queries and incidents.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Monitor system performance, proactively identifying issues and implementing preventative solutions.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings across all platforms.
  • Perform regular system audits to ensure compliance, efficiency, and data integrity.
  • Manage company devices (laptops, phones, tablets), including setup, maintenance, and replacement.
  • Maintain IT documentation, including manuals, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Salesforce Administration & Optimisation

  • Maintain and support the day-to-day operations of the Salesforce platform.
  • Manage user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and licence allocation.
  • Develop and implement workflows, dashboards, and reports to support business operations.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to enhance Salesforce functionality.
  • Coordinate with external developers or vendors to deliver system improvements.
  • Conduct user training and provide support during software updates or process changes.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Ensure data security protocols are maintained, including password management, access controls, and backups.
  • Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, potential threats, or breaches, and respond promptly.
  • Stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity trends and recommend best practice improvements.
  • Support compliance with privacy and data protection regulations relevant to NDIS operations.

Innovation & Systems Improvement

Assess new technologies that could enhance service delivery, collaboration, and efficiency.

  • Contribute to IT projects, upgrades, and implementations.
  • Develop and automate processes to streamline workflows.
  • Prepare system and performance reports for management review.

Training & Communication

  • Deliver staff training on software use, IT policies, and data security awareness.
  • Communicate clearly with non-technical users, ensuring understanding of system changes and updates.
  • Support a culture of technology adoption and continuous improvement across the organisation.
