Integrated Planning And Reporting Officer

This role is central to advancing the Organisation's commitment to effective Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) and business planning. You'll work closely with the Coordinator to develop, implement, and maintain essential corporate documents and systems that align with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level assistance in preparing and producing key IP&R documents, including the Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Program, and annual Operational Plan
  • Coordinate and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the progress of the adopted IP&R plans and performance measures
  • Be the lead system administrator, trainer, and support for a best-practice IP&R software system, ensuring cross-organisational commitment and use
  • Coordinate the development and enhancement of the business planning template and process for all Managers, ensuring alignment with corporate performance standards
  • Initiate, facilitate, and supervise corporate project teams, driving cross-functional initiatives and special projects
  • Provide advice, expertise, and support to staff on organisational planning, projects, programs, and policies, continually assessing best practice and community needs relative to IP&R processes.

Key Requirements:

We are looking for a professional with a proven track record in corporate or integrated planning.

  • A relevant Degree or equivalent solid working experience and training in a similar capacity
  • Demonstrated experience in corporate or integrated planning, reporting, and performance measurement
  • Highly developed computer skills with the capacity to administer, train, and support users in a corporate software system
  • High-level interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build effective working relationships across a large and diverse organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in the creation and delivery of key corporate documents
  • Highly developed organisation and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet challenging deadlines

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience with the NSW Integrated Planning and Reporting framework is highly regarded
  • Broad local government experience
  • Experience in business planning within a large organisation
  • A valid Class C drivers licence
