
Integrated Planning And Reporting Officer

This role is central to advancing the Organisation's commitment to effective Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) and business planning. You'll work closely with the Coordinator to develop, implement, and maintain essential corporate documents and systems that align with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level assistance in preparing and producing key IP&R documents, including the Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Program, and annual Operational Plan
- Coordinate and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the progress of the adopted IP&R plans and performance measures
- Be the lead system administrator, trainer, and support for a best-practice IP&R software system, ensuring cross-organisational commitment and use
- Coordinate the development and enhancement of the business planning template and process for all Managers, ensuring alignment with corporate performance standards
- Initiate, facilitate, and supervise corporate project teams, driving cross-functional initiatives and special projects
- Provide advice, expertise, and support to staff on organisational planning, projects, programs, and policies, continually assessing best practice and community needs relative to IP&R processes.
Key Requirements:
We are looking for a professional with a proven track record in corporate or integrated planning.
- A relevant Degree or equivalent solid working experience and training in a similar capacity
- Demonstrated experience in corporate or integrated planning, reporting, and performance measurement
- Highly developed computer skills with the capacity to administer, train, and support users in a corporate software system
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build effective working relationships across a large and diverse organisation
- Demonstrated experience in the creation and delivery of key corporate documents
- Highly developed organisation and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet challenging deadlines
Desirable Attributes:
- Experience with the NSW Integrated Planning and Reporting framework is highly regarded
- Broad local government experience
- Experience in business planning within a large organisation
- A valid Class C drivers licence
