About the position:

We have an exciting opportunity available to join the People Services team as a People Services Coordinator - Retail. This is an excellent position for a super star HR coordinator to provide administrative support and guidance throughout the entire employee life cycle to Snowy Hydro's retail brand, Red Energy.

As part of the People Services team you will work in partnership with P&C team members and other business units. Your goal is to provide an excellent customer experience to new employees joining us as well as existing employees who require assistance. This is a permanent full time position based in our Melbourne office. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing onboarding documents and contracts for new starters.

  • Generating correspondence for new and existing employees throughout the employee life cycle, striving to provide the best experience possible.

  • Continuously maintaining accurate records and employee data within our HRIS and other people systems.

  • Creating and delivering regular and ad hoc reports to provide business information.

  • Providing administrative support on confidential projects and cases.

  • Identifying areas of improvement throughout all processes and improving the management of data within people and performance systems.

  • Liaising with different departments and stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding for new starters.

  • Supporting the wider P&C team and wider business with the use of P&C software

About you:
  • Commercial experience in a similar role.

  • An ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality.

  • An eye for detail, with strong administrative and data input skills.

  • A strong customer focus and the desire to provide a great experience to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • An ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities within tight timeframes.

  • A positive attitude, a high level of energy, and a willingness to learn.
