$95K–$110K + Super (Experience Dependent)

Join a growing and values-driven provider delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy services to NDIS and Veteran (DVA) clients. We're seeking an experienced Mental Health Occupational Therapist to support clients in their homes and communities while contributing to a supportive, collaborative team.

About the Role

As a Mental Health Occupational Therapist, you will deliver high-quality assessment and therapy services to support clients in improving their daily functioning, independence and wellbeing—primarily within home and community settings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing functional and home-based assessments for Veterans and NDIS participants
  • Delivering tailored mental health and psychosocial OT interventions
  • Providing therapy programs focused on daily living skills, routines, and engagement
  • Developing comprehensive reports and recommendations
  • Working with clients presenting with psychological injuries, trauma, and complex needs
  • Collaborating closely with referrers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Managing a mobile caseload across Brisbane and surrounding suburbs

About You
  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist is required; formal mental health accreditation is not necessary, but relevant experience and/or postgraduate training in Mental Health is highly valued
  • 3–5 years' experience as an OT
  • Experience with DVA, NDIS, and Occupational Medicine (desirable)
  • Strong clinical reasoning and confidence working independently in the community
  • Compassionate communication and a client-centred approach
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region (travel is reimbursed)
