Occupational Therapist (Contractor OR Salaried – Full-time/Part-time)

Location: SE QLD – Greater Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Redlands (Hybrid: community, clinic & telehealth)

Remuneration:

  • Contractor (ABN): $100–$120/hr — NDIS-only caseload
  • Salaried: $90,000–$120, % super (QLD Health award rate)
  • Extras (Salaried): $0.92/km travel allowance | 5–10% performance bonuses

About the Role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team as either:

Option 1 – Contractor (ABN)
  • NDIS-only caseload
  • Full autonomy + high hourly rate
  • Ideal for clinicians wanting flexibility and independence
Option 2 – Salaried Employee (Full-time or Part-time)
  • Caseload across NDIS, NIISQ, HCP & DVA
  • Ideal for clinicians seeking stability, mentorship and variety

Both roles offer a mix of community work, telehealth, and full access of our modern Eight Mile Plains office.

Key Responsibilities (All Roles)
  • Functional Capacity Assessments, AT assessments, home visits & interventions
  • Manage adult caseloads with neuro, psychosocial, cognitive and behavioural needs
  • Prepare high-quality NDIS/NIISQ-aligned reports
  • Liaise with Support Coordinators, families, GPs and allied health providers
  • Maintain collaborative, ethical and client-centred practice
About You
  • Degree in OT + AHPRA registration
  • Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
  • Comfortable working in community environments
  • Experience with NDIS or neuro/psychosocial presentations (preferred)
