About the organisation & position

This organisation is a highly respected paediatric therapy provider local to the area, specialising in the delivery of personalised therapy and assessment services to help children thrive. Their core mission is to empower children and help them reach their full potential and foster their overall well-being. Ensuring a family-centred approach.

As a Graduate Occupational Therapist within the team, you will utilise your clinical skills and knowledge to manage a diverse paediatric caseload, providing tailored therapy and assessments to children one-on-one or within group programs. Partnered with an ease into your allied health career within a kick-start New Graduate Program.

New Graduate Program Overview:

  • One-on-one and group mentoring / supervision sessions weekly
  • Generous professional development allowance of $2500
  • Thorough induction and shadowing for your first few weeks
  • Gradual build into your caseload for your first 6 months
  • Flexible work-life balance: 4.5 day work week

Key Duties:

  • Managing a diverse caseload in the scope of; sensory exploration, early childhood development, physical development, cognitive function, emotional regulation & more
  • Providing therapy services in clinic and school holiday programs
  • Providing education workshops to families & teachers where needed
  • Actively participate in 1:1 and group mentoring sessions
  • Actively participating in discipline & MD team PD workshops

Essential Criteria

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration or ability to obtain
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Ability to obtain NDIS check and Working with Children Check
  • Passionate about providing family and children centred practice
