About The Role
- Coordinate patient bookings and referrals – manage outpatient appointments, ensure valid specialist referrals, and support the triaging process for new patients.
- Oversee Medicare billings and trust fund processes – handle end-to-end billing cycles, reconciliation, and prepare quarterly financial reports for departmental meetings.
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality – upload and manage patient photos and information across MediWeb and internal databases with accuracy and care.
- Support departmental operations – assist with meeting logistics, record minutes, and participate in quarterly after-hours meetings (1830–1930).
- Provide professional administrative support, handling calls, correspondence, and patient enquiries, part-time role, Mondays and Wednesdays
About You
- Proven healthcare administration experience – capable of supporting clinical teams efficiently and professionally.
- Highly organised with excellent time management – able to prioritise tasks, work autonomously, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – confident in verbal, written, and public-facing interactions with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Tech-savvy and detail-oriented – proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and medical record systems, ensuring accurate and secure record-keeping.
