An outstanding opportunity has become available at one of Australia's leading golf courses. The Victoria Golf Club, one of the premier clubs on Melbourne's famed Sandbelt is looking to employ a Qualified Greenkeeper to assist in the day-to-day course maintenance and future development of the course.

The club has recently completed a significant course upgrade, including the resurfacing of all greens with Pure Distinction Bentgrass, a state-of-the-art irrigation system has also been installed. A new maintenance facility is nearing completion, further supporting the continued improvement of course standards.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual who has attained a Certificate III in Turf Management and is willing to pursue further studies to advance their career. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of all aspects of golf course maintenance and construction, along with knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S) and Environmental Procedures. They will also demonstrate the attributes of a future turf manager.

Key Requirements

· Certificate III in Turf Management (minimum requirement)

· Willingness to undertake further professional development

· Sound knowledge of turf maintenance practices and construction methods

· Understanding of WH&S and Environmental Procedures

· Strong interest in fine turf management

· Excellent planning and communication skills

· Ability to work independently and lead/supervise co-workers

Additional Information

This is a full-time position, availability for rostered work on weekends and public holidays is required.
