Amrick Labour Hire is a leading provider in the construction industry. Since establishing over 15 years ago, Amrick has received multiple awards for its growth and holds a long-term membership with the Master Builders Association of Victoria.

Due to a growing number of clients and projects, Amrick are looking for experienced Qualified Carpenters to help with various upcoming residential and commercial projects around Melbourne, Victoria.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Variety of general carpentry tasks.
  • Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures.
  • Examine plans and determine the necessary procedures and time frame required to complete tasks.
  • Cut materials to specifications outlined in plans to erect frameworks and lay foundations.
  • Assemble and cut wooden materials to form structures and fittings.
  • Assemble concrete formwork.
  • Undertake defect work to fix existing fittings.
  • Work with plastic laminates, Perspex, and metal.

Requirements:

  • Commitment, drive, a strong work ethic and pride in your work.
  • Valid White card.
  • Valid Police Check beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Own transport is beneficial but not essential.
  • Full PPE and tools.
  • Working With Children's check beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Own transport is beneficial but not essential.
  • Additional tickets beneficial but not mandatory.

Job/Package:

  • On-going work and the view of working across various types of projects as well as various stages.
  • Overtime penalty rates.
  • Weekly pay cycle.
