Precision Hearing is one of Sydney's longest-established private diagnostic and hearing rehabilitation clinics. We specialise in providing comprehensive hearing care solutions, including hearing aid services, assistive listening devices, cochlear implants, and bone anchored hearing aids. Our experienced team also conducts diagnostic testing for hearing and balance disorders, delivering expert care to our valued patients.

The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced and professional Medical Receptionist to join our Darlinghurst clinic. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting our clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Opening and/or closing the practice
  • Managing incoming calls and emails with professionalism and efficiency
  • Scheduling appointments for patients across our multiple clinic locations
  • Processing invoicing and payments
  • Managing patient claims through Medicare, Workcover, Office of Hearing Services, and Department of Defence
  • Handling administrative tasks including scanning, faxing, filing, posting, and document management
  • Supporting additional practice needs based on your skills and experience

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Previous medical receptionist experience
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of service and patient care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
