About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of an ERPNext open-source enterprise system for a major client in the health and disability services sector.

This is a significant digital transformation program scheduled to commence in early 2026, with an expected delivery timeframe of 22–24 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering the ERPNext implementation—ensuring integration across finance, HR/payroll, procurement, CRM, case management, and reporting functions.

This role is ideal for a results-driven delivery professional with ERP program experience, open-source awareness, and the ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups within a complex public or community services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full ERPNext implementation lifecycle—from project initiation to go-live and post-implementation transition.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and governance frameworks in line with ICT project management best practice.
  • Oversee vendor engagement, open-source configuration, data migration, and systems integration activities.
  • Facilitate collaboration between internal technical teams, third-party developers, and key client stakeholders.
  • Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Prepare project reporting, quality reviews, and stakeholder briefings for governance forums.
  • Drive user adoption and training programs to embed system use across the business.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience (7+ years) managing complex ICT or ERP implementation projects, ideally within health, disability, or government sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in open-source ERP or cloud-based ERP delivery—experience with ERPNext is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with TechnologyOne, SAP, or similar ERP systems is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of business process re-engineering across finance, HR, and service delivery functions.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT, Business, or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certifications desirable).
  • Australian Citizenship (Baseline / NV1 clearance preferred)
