About The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Clinician – Speech Pathology to join our Child, Adult and Family Therapies team.

This senior role combines a clinical caseload with leadership responsibilities, providing mentorship, supervision, and professional support to speech pathologists and students. The position is pivotal in shaping the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based speech pathology services across the southern catchment, ensuring best practice and innovation in service delivery.

As Senior Clinician, You Will

  • Provide advanced clinical speech pathology services to clients and families.
  • Mentor and supervise Grade 1 and 2 speech pathologists, students, and team members.
  • Support induction and professional development of staff.
  • Lead service improvement initiatives, ensuring evidence-based and client-centred care.
  • Build strong connections with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance client outcomes.

About You
We are looking for a proactive and skilled clinician who is passionate about both client care and developing the next generation of speech pathologists. You will bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and Certified Practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Significant clinical experience across a range of client presentations.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including staff supervision, mentoring, and program development.
  • Strong knowledge of best practice principles in speech pathology and the ability to embed these into daily practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and stakeholders.
