Note: This role will be filled at either Health Professional Level 3 or Psychologist Level P3 depending on qualifications and experience, in line with the Enterprise Agreement.

Salary for HP3: $109,543 - $117,878 (Plus 12% Super)

Salary for P3: $120,806 - $131,180 (Plus 12% Super)

About the Role:

The VAD Psychosocial Lead is responsible for providing advanced clinical support, referral and guidance for individuals and families, alongside a range of other services, as they navigate this end-of-life option.

You will be an integral component of the VAD Support Service and regularly liaise with VAD Authorised Practitioners, individuals and families during the individual's VAD journey. You will be responsible for facilitating individualised VAD support packages which specifically meet the needs of each individual and their family and/ or carers. You will be coordinating and facilitating support for individuals through the VAD process and provide bereavement clinical support and information to carers, families, health practitioners and staff. As part of this role, you will be providing appropriate VAD services and resources for people from diverse backgrounds. This role will require you to travel within the ACT to provide face-to-face services at each individual's location as indicated.

Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.

Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
