Our client is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Paralegal to join their established legal team. The ideal candidate will provide robust support to the General Counsel and various stakeholders, ensuring seamless operations, clear communication, and efficient handling of diverse legal and administrative tasks.

Position Description

Reporting directly to the
General Counsel
, you will provide legal support across a broad range of property and development matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with conveyancing and Off-the-Plan (OTP) Transactions
  • Drafting and reviewing key documents, preparing and lodging Caveats, Mortgages, withdrawals, and related documents
  • Preparing OTP contracts following sales advice
  • Facilitating negotiations, exchanges, and communications with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Overseeing settlements, extensions, rescissions, and terminations, liaising with relevant parties and handling PEXA transactions
  • Conducting due diligence and ordering necessary searches
  • Assist with finance matters (including resales and condition precedents)
  • Assist with Acquisition Transactions, including reviewing and summarising proposed transaction documents, and supporting legal negotiations and due diligence processes
  • Facilitating the exchange of acquisition documents
  • Preparing pre- and post-exchange summaries for internal stakeholders
  • Manage document Preparation and Filing
  • Prepare research and reports

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking candidates who brings:

  • 10 + years of experience as a paralegal or senior licensed conveyancer, with expertise in conveyancing and off-the-plan developments, including presale finance
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and PEXA
  • Familiarity with ClickUp and Trisearch is a plus
  • Conveyancing License is advantageous
