Step into a key role supporting the growth of an established design and renovation business. This newly created position blends executive assistant responsibilities with business operations coordination, providing critical day-to-day support to the business owner, Steve, while supporting process improvements and business operations within an established kitchen and bathroom and renovation business.

This is a great opportunity for an accomplished EA or operations professional who is keen to join a close-knit small business team within the design and renovation industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Support – provide EA support to Steve, including scheduling client consultations, site visits, supplier meetings, and design times.
  • Business Operations – Support Steve to coordinate renovation project timelines, liaising with clients and trades, ensuring supplier orders align with schedules and managing project documentation. Drive efficiencies, implement processes and manage scheduling, looking for process improvements along the way
  • Administration & Coordination – act as the first point of contact for stakeholders, assist with compliance, maintain showroom standards and jump on ad hoc projects with enthusiasm.
  • Problem Solving – Anticipate needs, manage upwards, and help keep Steve "above water" by bringing clarity, urgency, and structure to daily operations.

About You

  • Proven experience in executive support, operations, or project coordination.
  • Highly organised and confident using Outlook & Excel with desirable experience using accounting software.
  • Experience in the renovation or construction industry is a plus.
  • Independent and solutions-focused with strong communication skills.
