This is for a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 6 months, with a possibility of extension.
There is currently one (1) full time appointment available for an immediate start.

This position is located in Shenton Park.

Eligibility to Apply:
This vacancy is to be filled within the WA Government Health System by secondment, temporary deployment, or Fixed Term Contract. Only current WA Government employees (including permanent, fixed term contract and those on secondment) are eligible to apply.

Position Profile
: We are seeking to appoint a Principal Consultant who will be responsible for providing professional and management support to the Board Chair, Board members, Chief Executive, Board Committees and Executive team.

The Principal Consultant is responsible for the effective and professional management of Board Committees and Executive operations. The position provides high level Secretariat support for the compilation of all Board Committee agendas, minutes and reports, and manages all Committee logistics including coordination of membership, entitlements and other Committee related requirements. The position also supports the Manager, Board and Policy Governance with the overall management of the governance and operational requirements for the WACHS Board.

Ideally the successful candidate will have strong skills in organisational governance, excellent organisation and influencing skills, a strong work ethic and high level of attention to detail. Experience with committee governance, including preparation of agendas, meeting management and minute taking will be highly regarded.

Any successful applicant may, at times, be required to travel regionally within Western Australia as part of the WACHS Board's regional engagement program.
