About the Role

Our client, a global leader in Computers and Information Technology, are looking for experienced Credit Officers to join their Finance Team in their Homebush office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer accounts to ensure settlement within the credit terms and conditions.
  • Promptly process monthly customer statements / chasing payments
  • Liaise with customers, process credit claims, rebates, dead-on-arrivals (DOAs), and returns.
  • Alarm risk accounts and comments on overdue weekly.
  • Payment allocation.
  • Process online payments, other bank transactions, and assist with bank reconciliation.
  • Accounts receivable month-end closing.
  • Resolve outstanding balances.

The Successful Applicants will need to have

  • A Certificate in Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics or related field would be an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in credit control
  • Proven expertise in debt collection and retail accounts reconciliation
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, numeric accuracy, and strong attention to details
