**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage customer accounts to ensure settlement within the credit terms and conditions.
- Promptly process monthly customer statements / chasing payments
- Liaise with customers, process credit claims, rebates, dead-on-arrivals (DOAs), and returns.
- Alarm risk accounts and comments on overdue weekly.
- Payment allocation.
- Process online payments, other bank transactions, and assist with bank reconciliation.
- Accounts receivable month-end closing.
- Resolve outstanding balances.

To be successful in this role, you must be keen to learn and take on new challenges.
- A Certificate in Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics or related field would be an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in credit control
- Proven expertise in debt collection and retail accounts reconciliation
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, numeric accuracy, and strong attention to details

Important: Applicants must have Australian / New Zealand citizenship or have the proper authorisation to live and work in Australia indefinitely.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
