Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
You'll provide expert home loan advice to our customers across the region where you are located, building a network of clients, supporting residential homeowners and property investors. You will grow and sustain new business opportunities in home loans, working in a range of diverse and non-traditional environments, so you'll love the idea of being flexible and adaptable.
What are the key day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?
Prospecting for new home lending opportunities and building rapport with customers.
Identifying ways to help customers with their banking needs.
Creating and submitting credit applications, through to approval and drawdown.
Developing existing and new relationships to drive new opportunities, and following up clients/leads.
Helping new Zealanders fulfil their home ownership dreams

What attributes will this person have in order to be successful?
You'll be an experienced home lender, passionate about the entire client journey from pre-approvals to drawdowns. This is an acquisition role, therefore needs an engaging, self-motivated individual ready to build an exceptional brand across the region. We are looking for:
Proven home lending experience, you'll have sound knowledge and credit skills in the home lending space.
You'll be familiar with your local area and ideally already have strong relationships and networking abilities in and around the area.
A sound understanding of the property market, as well as the housing under construction, property development and turnkey industries.
Someone not afraid to put themselves out there and really be a self-starter, resilient, motivated to succeed.
This position is 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility to work weekends and afterhours as part of the full-time hours. You'll service customers in and around the region where you are located, this is a mobile role (company vehicle provided), therefore you will need to be comfortable with traveling across the region.
