Key Responsibilities:

As our Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll be accountable for:

Deliver timely and accurate financial analysis and commentary each month to aid informed decision-making.

Collect, analyse, monitor, interpret data and information, and make recommendations to ensure key financial outcomes are achieved.

Prepare formal documentation to a high standard for submission and/or presentation to Stakeholders, Funding Bodies, Senior Management and Executive Management.

Build strong relationships with budget managers, executives, operational teams, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and information exchange.

Identify opportunities for process improvement within the Finance team and contribute to the implementation of best practices.

About you:

Strong working knowledge and experience in financial management together with qualifications acquired through:

A tertiary degree in Accounting or equivalent.

CPA or CA qualification or equivalent experience (preferable but not essential).

Preferably, exposure to project, program and portfolio management methodologies.

A valid and current Australian workers' rights.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Power BI skills with the ability to use complex formulas.

Financial reporting experience or senior management accounting experience highly regarded

Salary:

The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 5 $115,162 - $139,851 + superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
