Nelson Bay Bowling Club is looking for a dynamic, dedicated, hands on individual with exceptional hospitality experience to join their team in the part time position of

Relief Duty Manger.

The successful applicant will have responsibilities in the following key areas

-      Oversee all daily operations of the Club, including Bar, Gaming, Catering & Functions, ensuring superior levels of service are being met at all times.

-      Allocating work to and supervising employees in one or more sections of the Club,

-      Ensuring all compliance with the Registered Clubs Act, Gaming Machine Act & WHS Responsibilities.

To be successful you must:

  • Hold a current RSA & RCG
  • Proven previous Management Role
  • Be available to work a rotating roster including day shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Lead with a hands-on approach, motivating in a team environment.
  • Have effective time management and organisation skills.
  • Have a high degree of discretion, integrity and confidentiality.
  • Have good conflict resolution skills with both patrons and staff.
  • Be service focused with high attention to detail and manage the overall customer experience.
  • Be able to coordinate resources to ensure all Club areas are operating effectively.
  • Able to problem solve
