Our client, a well-established and privately held property developer with a substantial and diverse portfolio, is seeking an accomplished finance executive to join their leadership team with a focus on Treasury, Planning and Reporting. This is a rare opportunity to influence strategic direction within a robust organisation that balances long-term growth with disciplined capital management and financial performance.
About the RoleReporting to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, this role carries significant responsibility across treasury, corporate finance, risk management, and strategic capital deployment. You will oversee complex debt structures, manage relationships with senior banking partners, and provide financial leadership that directly shapes investment decisions and business planning. This role will also play a key role in the medium and long term planning and reporting function and support key financial leaders in the executive of the management reporting and budgeting functions of the company.
The position offers genuine proximity to decision-making at the highest level, with exposure to key internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead treasury operations, including oversight of syndicated and mezzanine debt facilities, covenant compliance, and managing key banking relationships
- Develop and maintain robust financial planning frameworks, including rolling forecasts and scenario analysis for major projects
- Oversee corporate structure optimisation, tax strategy, and compliance
- Identify and secure diversified funding sources to support strategic growth and company development
- Provide comprehensive executive planning and reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Support and drive continued systems optimisation projects
- Support the Group Financial Controller in statutory reporting, audit coordination, and team leadership on an ad hoc basis
- Drive and support other key financial projects as required
You are a commercially astute finance leader, ideally CA or CPA qualified, with a strong track record in property, construction, or capital-intensive industries. You bring proven experience managing institutional banking relationships, debt facilities, and corporate finance structures. Your approach balances technical rigour with strategic insight, and you are comfortable navigating complexity—from tax compliance to capital structuring—with confidence and discretion. You engage naturally with executive teams, and you thrive in organisations where your contribution is visible and valued.
