Are you a seasoned Business Analyst with deep experience in financial services and a passion for shaping meaningful change?

Analystworks is seeking an exceptional BA to join our team and work with a leading client on complex, high-impact initiatives.

About the Role

You'll play a key role in driving clarity, alignment, and delivery across strategic programs.

You'll collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, solution designers, and delivery teams to define and elaborate requirements that bring tangible value to our client's business.

You'll work across both Waterfall and Agile delivery environments, adapting your approach to ensure requirements are captured, understood, and delivered effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Engage with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements and processes.
  • Develop clear and comprehensive requirements documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support project delivery through the full lifecycle – from concept and business case through to implementation and transition.
  • Facilitate workshops to define business problems, opportunities, and solutions.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure traceability between business needs and solution outcomes.
  • Work within Agile or Waterfall project models as required.

About You

You are a confident, detail-oriented professional with a proven record of delivering results in complex financial services environments. You thrive on understanding business problems, shaping solutions, and communicating clearly across all levels of an organisation.

You'll bring:

  • 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, ideally in superannuation, wealth management, or insurance.
  • Strong experience in requirements definition and elaboration for both business and technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in Agile (Scrum / SAFe) and Waterfall delivery models.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of business processes, data, and regulatory considerations in the superannuation domain.
