About WSANDN
The World Subnationals and Nations (WSANDN Australia) is a global organization committed to fostering collaboration, innovation, sustainable development, and strengthened partnerships between nations and subnational entities. Our work supports global economic growth, local community development, and long-term cooperation across regions and sectors.
We are expanding our Australian team and seeking experienced, values-driven leaders to oversee our programs at various jurisdictional levels.
Available Full-Time Positions

Each role is responsible for overseeing WSANDN activities within their designated jurisdiction, ensuring effective governance, community engagement, and strategic alignment with national and global WSANDN objectives.
Salary Range: AUD $100,000 – $250,000 (depending on seniority and experience)Work Type: In-person, Hybrid, or Remote (role-dependent)Locations: NSW, NT, SA, WA, VIC, QLD, TAS, ACT & other Australian Territories Eligibility: Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents only Role Summary (Directors & Managers)
Directors and Managers will lead WSANDN's operational, community, and strategic functions within their state, council, or regional area. This includes oversight of local programs, stakeholder engagement, team coordination, and alignment with WSANDN's mission of promoting cooperation, sustainable development, and community-focused growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee WSANDN programs and initiatives within the assigned jurisdiction.
- Develop and implement strategies aligned with national and global WSANDN goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local councils, state agencies, NGOs, and business partners.
- Lead outreach programs, events, and public engagement initiatives.
- Provide operational leadership, reporting, and performance oversight.
- Represent WSANDN at meetings, forums, conferences, and stakeholder gatherings.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, governance standards, and legal requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Management, Community Development, Law, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant leadership or managerial experience (5+ years preferred for Director roles).
- Demonstrated experience in community engagement, operations management, governance, or organizational leadership.
- Strong understanding of Australian regional governance, community dynamics, or public-sector operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional references confirming experience and integrity.
