DOUBLESTAR CO is a specialist brand agency working across brand, film, and digital. The Managing Director focuses on creative direction and client leadership for major brand and film projects. This role exists to support that focus by running the business side — ensuring the studio operates smoothly, efficiently, and to a high standard.

As a Sydney team of four, with staff in Perth, Cebu and a village in France, we are looking for someone who keeps the studio organised, structured, and running efficiently. You will work closely with the Managing Director to turn ideas into action, manage projects, and maintain the systems that keep our work moving.

This role covers day-to-day operations, client management, and internal systems. It suits someone who is highly dependable, organised, and takes pride in making sure everything works as it should. You will be central to the running of the business and help create the space for the creative team to do their best work.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Managing Director by following through on plans, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Lead day-to-day studio operations, including scheduling, workflow, and resourcing.
  • Oversee and maintain all studio systems such as G Suite, Slack, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Notion, and project tools.
  • Manage and refine the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure clarity and consistency across all internal processes.
  • Handle financial and administrative processes, including invoicing, supplier coordination, and Xero management.
  • Keep all projects on track through clear planning, communication, and accountability.
  • Support client delivery by managing scopes, timelines, and reporting.
  • Manage website design and development projects, including the coordination of two developers and oversight of progress and delivery.
  • Ensure web projects meet both creative and functional expectations.
  • Maintain calm, clarity, and communication across the team and clients.
