The GIANTS are on an exciting journey both on and off the field. With teams in the AFL, the AFL Women's League and Super Netball competitions, the GIANTS truly are a club like no other.

On field, the AFL team has quickly grown into one of the competition's most exciting teams with several players becoming household names across the country. Likewise, the on-field achievements of our AFL Women's and GIANTS Netball teams are seeing the club connect with more fans and followers than ever before.

Off field, the club's exciting, innovative, and fresh brand is growing as it engages with members, fans, the community and key stakeholders across Western Sydney, Canberra and Nationally.

The GIANTS' AFL and AFL Women's teams are based at the club's elite training and administration facility in Sydney Olympic Park, with GIANTS Netball based adjacent at Netball Central.

Description:

Position Purpose

Fan Engagement Casuals work scheduled shifts to engage and provide outstanding customer service to GIANTS members and fans across inbound and outbound phone calls, monitoring email inboxes, handling and selling of merchandise in the GIANTS shop, and executing across the handling, set up/pack down, and running of game-day and events activations, as well as other related duties as required from time to time.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to GIANTS members and fans across all touchpoints.
• Respond to inbound and make outbound sales and customer service phone calls and emails in a timely, professional manner.
• Assist with merchandise sales and customer service in the GIANTS Shop, and related duties.
• Support the setup, execution, and pack down of game-day and event activations.
• Participate in event and match-day operations as required.
• Complete other related tasks and duties as directed from time to time.

Skills and Experiences:

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Confident using basic computer systems, including email and point-of-sale software.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take initiative when needed.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required.
• Previous experience in customer service, retail, events, or fan engagement (desirable).
• Knowledge of and passion for AFL or sport more broadly (desirable).
