About the role

The Training Coordinator supports the delivery of integrated support services for apprentices, trainees and their employers, fosters engagement with stakeholders and promotes and markets vocational education training and employment programs and services across the regional area.

The role engages with Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities, to inform of opportunities provided by TSNSW, including Aboriginal Programs and local training and employment opportunities.

About you  

  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Adaptable with excellent communication skills
  • Showing experience in preparing correspondence, briefings and reports to support the effective operations of the Regional Centre.
  • Capable with providing culturally appropriate support to employers and Aboriginal learners through department initiatives addressing cultural and sensitive issues to enhance training and employment outcomes.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

  • Current driver's licence and a willingness to travel
