About the opportunity
Are you an experienced program leader with a passion for delivering complex, digitally enabled transformation? WorkSafe Victoria is seeking a dynamic Program Manager to drive the successful delivery of modernised technology solutions that improve outcomes for injured workers and streamline claims and premium systems.
As the Program Manager, Claims Systems Modernisation, you will be at the forefront of delivering transformative digital solutions that are critical to the success of WorkSafe's strategic objectives.
You'll lead cross-functional delivery teams, comprising of internal staff, Agents, and external vendors, ensuring that program streams are aligned, risks are managed, and outcomes are delivered on time and to quality standards. Operating in a complex, matrixed environment, you will coordinate multiple technology streams while building strong relationships across senior leadership and delivery partners.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital solutions for claims and premium administration.
- Oversee solution design, development, and implementation aligned with strategic business outcomes.
- Manage cross-disciplinary teams and delivery partners across all work streams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including Executives, external vendors and agents.
- Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans and program budgets.
- Monitor and report on delivery performance, risks, issues, and interdependencies.
- Support program governance processes, including stage gating and executive reporting.
- Drive procurement and vendor engagement in line with WorkSafe policies.
- Champion collaboration, transparency, and accountability across all program activities.

About you
You are a confident and experienced Program Manager who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments. With a track record of delivering large-scale, technology-enables programs, you bring a strong blend of strategic thinking, executional excellence and people leadership.
You will also bring:
- Proven experience leading large-scale, technology-enabled programs in complex stakeholder environments—ideally within insurance or government sectors.
- Experience delivering Salesforce technology programs
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of delivering programs on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary and matrix delivery teams.
- Advanced stakeholder engagement and vendor management capabilities.
- Confidence navigating governance structures and reporting requirements.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and drive outcomes in high-pressure environments.
