SGA Engineering is a leading structural steel fabrication company based in Melton, delivering high-quality steel solutions for commercial and industrial projects across Victoria. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Welder Fabricator to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble structural steel components from detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Perform Welding to Australian standards (AS/NZS 1554).
  • Operate fabrication machinery including cutting, grinding, and drilling tools.
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with workshop supervisors and project managers to meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and welding, Mig Welding - Medium to heavy structural steel .
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Trade qualification Boiler maker / Fabrication - Certificate III in Engineering.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Forklift license (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team including .
